Crashing the dreams of numerous fans who seemed overwhelmed at the prospect of Mahesh Babu working with Sukumar yet again, the actor has decided to walk out of the much-talked-about project. Citing creative differences with the director, Mahesh Babu announced the film with Sukumar is “not happenning”. The actor further wished Sukumar the best for his new film.
“Due to creative differences, my film with Sukumar is not happening. I wish him all the best on the announcement of his new project. Respect always for a filmmaker par excellence. 1 Nenokkadine will remain as a cult classic. Enjoyed every moment working on that film. All the best sir for your new film,” Mahesh Babu wrote on his social media handles.
Sukumar, who scored his career’s biggest hit last year with Rangasthalam, was slated to work with Mahesh Babu for his next. The duo had earlier worked for 1 Nenokkadine, which won many accolades from fans and critics despite failing to make it big at the box office. However, the recent announcement has left many of the actor’s fans hugely disappointed.
Mahesh Babu is currently working with director Vamshi Paidipally for his 25th film. Titled Maharshi, the film stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead and is expected to hit the screens in April this year. The Bharat Ane Nenu star is then expected to join hands with Anil Ravipudi of F2 fame for his next.
