As Vizag is getting smarter, the infrastructure of the city should be evolving to match the essentials which are required to withstand the changing phenomenon. Advancement in the city’s infrastructure makes living easy. In this regards, the government is taking steps to upgrade Vizag’s structure under Public Private Partnership mode.
To start with them, these two would be constructed in the likes of advanced corporate skyscrapers which will stand for citizens essentialities. The project’s budget is estimated to be Rs 822.18 Crores and would be built on eco-friendly terms.
The to and fro way of the buses and restrooms in the station would be established in the first level of the bus station. All the city buses would travel underground to reach the station. Also, the buses would be upgraded with proper ventilation facilities.
Underground hairpin circuits have bee proposed for taxi service at the bus stop.
The advanced bus parking facility would be available with GPS, wifi, sensors and digital screens. Checkpoints would be established at the terminals with scanners to detect the coming and going of the buses. Sensors would help in checking the buses.
To raise the city’s economy, the skyscrapers would comprise of star hotels and stores. Apartments on the top would be offered for lease.
Not just cinema halls and shopping stores, the multiplexes would contain a huge space for organising International concerts.
Connecting RTC Complex, proposed GVMC skyscraper and City Central Park, walking bridge would be constructed.
