For all those among us who would like to relive their childhood days with stories of Indian origin, Chandamama is now online. Yes that is fantastic news and for those who haven’t had a chance to explore the fantasy and real folk stories of India, mythology, religion and more, just click Chandamama.in. It’s a 70 year old Indian Magazine and one of the most popular and loved. One is never too old for Chandamama is what is true.

What’s even better is the fact that online one can find the original editions of the magazine with free download facility. So much variety and a whole world of fables, mythology and other stories are here to be revisited, cherished and enjoyed at leisure. The illustrations that accompany these stories for kids will let you literally travel back in time. It is available in a number of Indian languages along with English.

Chandamama was started in an edition of the magazine in Telugu by B.Nagi Reddy and Chakrapani, noted Telugu Film Producer’s. It was edited by Kodavatiganti Kutumba Rao, a literary colossus in Telugu Literature, who edited it for 28 years, till his death in August 1980. In 2007, Chandamama was bought by Geodesic, a Mumbai-based software services provider company.
