Actor Nani’s latest film, Jersey has set the cash registers ringing all over. The film, which hit the screens on 19 April, opened to positive reviews right from the word go and has been performing well ever since. In addition to churning out good numbers at the Indin box office, Jersey has continued Nani’s dream run in the US as well.
Reportedly, the film has crossed the $1 million mark in the US. The feat also marked Nani’s sixth film into the US million dollar club. Directed by Gautam Tinnanuri, Jersey essays the emotional journey of an aging cricketer, who faces the odds to make his loved ones proud.
Apart from wooing the fans, Jersey has also been receiving plaudits from T-town. Several celebrities from the Telugu film fraternity took to social media to heap praise on the film. Notably, Jr NTR was among the many celebs who appreciated Nani and the film’s unit for their effort. “#Jersey is an outstanding film that took me on a roller coaster ride.
