2017 has relatively been a successful year for Tollywood. Many movies not only got the cash registers ringing but also succeeded in entertaining the audiences. As we get all set to bring the curtains down on an eventful year, a few more movies remain in the store to keep us hooked. Come this weekend and two highly anticipated movies will be hitting the screens. While Thursday will see Nani come out with his ‘MCA’, Akhil Akkineni will be saying ‘Hello!’ to us on Friday.
So here’s what lies in store for us this weekend.
MCA
Nani has been on a roll for the past few years. From ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’ that released in 2015 to ‘Ninnu Kori’ that released in July this year, the actor has been riding high on consecutive successes. ‘MCA’ will be the actor’s third outing this year and given the commercial aspects loaded in the film, the “cine-pundits” feel that the actor is certainly in for a hattrick.
Directed by Venu Sriram of ‘Oh my friend’ fame, ‘MCA’ has been produced by Dil Raju. The tunes, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, have already struck a chord with the students. Another special feature of the film is that actress Bhoomika makes a comeback to Tollywood with a major role in the film.
So gear up for some typical mass entertainer as ‘MCA’ promises to be a treat to all the ‘Middle Class Abbaylu’.
HELLO!
‘Hello!’ has kept the fans intrigued right since the release of its first look. Directed by Vikram Kumar of ‘Manam’ fame, ‘Hello!’ has been produced on a grand scale by Akkineni Nagarjuna. While the movie casts Akhil Akkineni and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leads, actors such as Jagapati Babu and Ramyakrishnan play other prominent roles.
Be it the promising trailer, the visible grandeur, the soothing tracks by Anup Rubens, or even the interesting storylines chosen by Vikram Kumar thus far, ‘Hello!’ gives us many reasons to watch it this weekend.
May both the movies emerge as winners
Both the movies deal with different concepts and seem to have all the ingredients to emerge as winners at the box office. So let us hope that both ‘MCA’ and ‘Hello!’ succeed in entertaining us and end 2017 on a high for Tollywood.
