The Ministry of Defence (Navy), Naval Dockyard Apprentices School, Vizag has released a recruitment notification for the position of Trade Apprentice in November 2021. As many as 275 vacancies for the role of a trade apprentice have been announced.
Interested candidates can now apply for the posts online by visiting the official website of the Indian Navy. After filling the personal and professional details, the candidates can submit an online application form. It may be noted that the last date to apply for the posts is 5 December 2021. The written test will be conducted in January 2022. The personal interviews will be held from 31 January 2022 to 15 February 2022. The training for the selected candidates is scheduled to be conducted from 1 April 2022.

- Welder (Gas & Electric) – 16 Posts
- Carpenter – 27 Posts
- Foundryman – 07 Posts
- Mechanic (Diesel) – 20 Posts
- Sheet Metal Worker – 34 Posts
- Pipe Fitter – 22 Posts
Eligibility Criteria for Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2021:
Candidates should possess SSC/Matric/Std X with minimum of 50% (aggregate) ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades with a minimum 65% (aggregate).
Selection Procedure for Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2021:
The online submitted applications will be reviewed by the Indian Navy. The eligible candidates will have to attend a computer-aided written test.
A merit list of candidates will be released based on this exam results. Those shortlisted applicants will be called in for a personal interview. By evaluating their performances, the candidates will be given the offer letters.
Pay Scale:
The selected candidates for the trade apprentice post will be offered a salary, based on the category.
