New Airlines To Take Off From Vizag

Visakhapatnam : Here’s some good news for people flying abroad! Hon’ble Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, during his trip to China, took part in a meeting with Etihad Airways vice-president Vijay Poonoosamy. The State proposal to run direct flights from Andhra Pradesh to various countries was accepted.

The proposed cities being Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati. Soon people from these cities can directly fly abroad without the trouble of changing multiple flights. The Chief Minister said that the State Government would ask permission for running international flights, under the new aviation policy announced recently by the Centre.

Meanwhile, the bid documents for Bhogapuram International Airport, coming up in Vizag, are to be released in the coming month of July. As soon as the project is completed, the frequency of the domestic and the international flights shall enormously increase along with the addition of newer airlines as well.

So get ready with your passports and fasten up your seat belts.
