Film actor and President of Janasena Party, Pawan Kalyan, has been honoured with The Indo European Business Forum (IEBF) excellence award for the year 2017. The award was presented to Pawan Kalyan at the Global Business Summit held on 17th November at the House of Lords in London.
The IEBF award, which generally recognises an individual’s excellence in business, was awarded to Pawan Kalyan for his contribution to arts, politics, and social work.
It has also been reported that the Janasena chief will interact with students from different universities in London today.
While speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan said, “Social justice and economic prosperity go hand in hand. I strive for social justice and there’s a lot of diversity in India. Extreme rich and extreme poverty go together and yet they go through the pain and misery without any complaint. The prosperity of the world depends upon how the downtrodden in each civilisation are treated.”
He also added, “Apart from me, there are many individuals back in India who work hard to bring about a change in the society. And, may be, as I am popular, and have amplified their cause to find a permanent solution, I am receiving this award on their behalf.”
Pawan Kalyan is currently busy shooting for his upcoming flick which will hit the screens during Sankranti next year.
