A day after YSRCP chief YS Jagan made personal remarks against JanaSena Party chief Pawan Kalyan, the latter hit back. Jagan had criticised the JSP chief for his multiple marriages and also tagged him as a “nitya pellikoduku” (bridegroom forever).
“If so many leaders are criticising us, it means that we are strong. They are afraid of the potential change that we would bring in the society and are hence calling us names. What these people don’t understand is, Janasainiks are brave enough and all game to confront such hooligans.” Pawan Kalyan said while addressing a gathering in Bhimavaram.
“Pawan Kalyan might appear to be soft from outside, but will tear you apart if you get personal,” the JSP chief warned. “If these people, who have been named multiple scams, have the guts to criticise in such a manner, then how proud should a person like me, who is fighting for people’s causes, be?” Pawan asked.
On the other hand, several other political leaders too found fault with Jagan’s personal remarks against Pawan Kalyan. “What Jagan said is totally wrong and unacceptable. Marking remarks on personal grounds in forbidden even by the constitution and it is upto those involved in the matter to decide what needs to be done,” said senior politician Undavalli Arun Kumar.
