Prime Minister Narendra Modi will soon visit Andhra Pradesh. Set to address a public meeting in Guntur on 10 February, the Prime Minister was originally slated to visit Visakhapatnam on 16 February. However, as per the latest development, Modi’s visit to Visakhapatnam has been postponed.
PM Narendra Modi was expected to address a public meeting and participate in other significant events during his visit to the city on 16 February. However, with the Prime Minister having to take part in another event on the same day, his trip to Visakhapatnam has been postponed to 27 February, as per the information revealed by BJP National leaders.
Earlier, while speaking to media, BJP State President, Kanna Lakshmi Narayana said, “PM Narendra Modi will address public gatherings in Guntur and Visakhapatnam to counter the false claims being made by the TDP government.”
BJP leader and Visakhapatnam North MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju has reportedly submitted a request to the state government to allot Andhra University Engineering Grounds for the Prime Minister’s meeting in the city on 27 February. As a precautionary measure, the BJP leaders have also been trying for Port Stadium and Indira Priyadarshini Stadium for the same.
On the other hand, works are being carried out on a war footing in Guntur ahead of the PM visit on 10 February. It may be noted that Budampadu near Guntur is was finalised as the venue for the meeting, which is expected to be organised on a massive scale.
