As an attempt to pay tribute to the country’s soldiers, actress Hema Malini and director Madhur Bhandarkar have come forward with a unique initiative. They announced ‘One For All, All For One: A Tribute & Salute to the True Unsung Heroes of Our Nation’, which has its basic idea conceptualised by Sunil Rane, the chairman of Atharva Foundation.
The event, which will be held in Mumbai on January 31st, 2018, will give the audience insights of a soldier’s life with some short stories.
A report in Deccan Chronicle quoted Sunil Rane as saying, “Almost every actor is eager to participate. We decided to make it big from the North to South. Right now, I can only give away the name of the biggest Tollywood actor, Prabhas, who will also be joining us for this event.”
Actress Hema Malini said, “We need to give a chance to the students of Atharva College, with an inclination towards storytelling. We should hold a competition and the winner should be allowed to participate in the event to be held on January 31 at the Gateway of India.”
Director Madhur Bhandarkar was also heartened by the idea of making short films on the lives of soldiers. He also informed that Suni Rane narrated ten wonderful stories to him which prompted him to join the initiative.
Prabhas is currently busy shooting for his next, Saaho. As a matter of fact, Saaho is the second Indian movie to get permission to shoot at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.
