In what comes as yet another jolting reminder of human savagery, a pregnant woman was pushed out of a moving train in Andhra Pradesh.
The incident took place in Andhra Pradesh’s Dharmavaram on Tuesday when the victim was travelling to Bengaluru on the Kondaveedu Express. The woman, who is seven months pregnant, was allegedly pushed out of the moving train. As the train was moving slow, the woman survived the fall. Divya boarded the Kondaveedu express at Narsaraopeta on Monday night along with her mother-in-law. As per the information provided by the police, the incident had occurred when Divya was coming out of the washroom.
After being attacked by the wrongdoers, Divya gained consciousness and walked to the nearby fields, where she was helped by the local farmers. The woman was eventually shifted to a hospital in Bengaluru after her husband got to know the news.
The police said that they have registered a case and are searching to get hold of the alleged miscreants.
