The President of India arrives today in Visakhapatnam and he has an itinerary waiting for him choc-a-bloc with engagements. Here’s a preview.
It is just for two days that the President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind will be in Visakhapatnam and a long list of engagements are already chalked in his itinerary. Doubtless that the Port City of Visakhapatnam will be delighted and awaiting his arrival with anticipation. He will be arriving at the Airport precisely at 2.20 p.m from the capital New Delhi. He will be received there and proceed to the Presidential suite at INS Dega thereafter.
In Visakhapatnam his itinerary has 3.40 p.m slated for the arrival of the President of India at Beach Road so that he may inaugurate the Aircraft Museum at 4.00 p.m and participate in the various programmes forthwith. After this Shri Ram Nath Kovind will be received at Andhra University by the Vice-Chancellor G Nageswara Rao. He will be laying the foundation stone for the e-Classroom complex and Incubation Center. After a brief visit to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Memorial School, near Bullaiah College at 5.15 p.m he will proceed back to INS Dega.
The President of India will be releasing a Commemorative Stamp on INS Kalvari at ENC(O) Mess Lawns at 8 p.m to mark the occasion here. This would be the last item on his itinerary for the day.
The next day that is Saturday, the President will be participating in the important event which is Presentation of Colours to Navy Submarine Arm of the Indian Navy between 8 a.m. It is the Golden Jubilee year of the Eastern Naval Command as well. After this event his visit to Visakhapatnam will be concluded and he will proceed to INS Dega for departure to New Delhi at 10.40 a.m.
No doubt a busy and pressing itinerary, the President of India comes here on a purposeful sojourn and Visakhapatnam is in secure readiness to receive him.
