Victory Venkatesh might be roped in for Raju Gari Gadhi 3

Raju Gari Gadhi, which released in 2015, emerged to be a hit at the box office. The movie which was a horror-comedy, succeeded in sharing a fair share of laughs and scares to the audiences. Two years later, the movie’s sequel, Raju Gari Gadhi 2, is all set to hit the screens this Friday. Directed by Ohmkar, the sequel stars Akkineni Nagarjuna and Samantha as the lead actors.

Telangana Today quoted Ohmkar saying that both Nagarjuna and Samantha immediately agreed to work on this project. While many people specualted that Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is a remake of the Malayalam movie Pretham, the director says, it has just been used as inspiration and majority of the script was rewritten by adding in various elements.

Raju Gari Gadhi 3 on the cards

Ohmkar even expressed his plans of making the third part of Raju Gari Gadhi. He added that veteran actor Venkatesh will be playing the movie’s lead if everything goes as per the plan. The director is presently looking to rope in a youngster for his next movie which will be a love story.

Venkatesh had worked in Nagavalli in the past which was also a horror movie. However, the movie, which was the Telugu sequel to Chandramukhi, could not get the cash registers ringing.
