The political scenario in Andhra Pradesh seems to be heating up with each passing day. While the ruling TDP has locked horns with the centre demanding special status for the state, the state’s other two major parties, YSRCP and JanaSena Party too have come to grips with the situation and are busy campaigning in different parts of Andhra Pradesh. While the experts predict that the upcoming state elections in 2019 might see the parties tussle it out in a fierce battle, it looks as if Pawan Kalyan’s JanaSena Party might get an added oomph factor going into the campaigning stage, with actor Ram Charan recently evincing his interest in canvassing for his uncle’s party in the coming days.
In a recent media interaction, Ram Charan recollected Pawan Kalyan telling him during the that it was too early for the former to campaign for Praja Rajyam, back in 2009. However, Ram Charan added that his support will always be there for the family and he would be willing to join his uncle’s campaign at any moment if the need arises.
Film celebrities have always managed to catch the crowd’s eye when it comes to electoral campaigns. While Jr NTR campaigned extensively for TDP ahead of the 2009 state elections, Pawan Kalyan’s support to the NDA front in 2014 proved to be a major factor in determining the vote share.
Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with his Praja Porata Yatra, which was kick-started in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh a few days ago. It will be interesting to see if actors from the “Mega Camp” do come forward to play an active role in the upcoming campaigns.
