Vizag lad Revanth wins the 9th season of singing reality show, Indian Idol

Venkata Revanth Kumar Sharma or simply Revanth won the 9^th season of Indian Idol and Visakhapatnam is proud of him. He not only won the singing reality show, but also won a million hearts across the globe with his amazing voice and singing skills. The new winner of the show has earned a lot of respect for his singing skills and gave a tough competition to PVNS Rohit and Khuda Baksh till the last moment. The reality show turned out to be life changer for him and now the trophy shines in his hand.

This ninth season of Indian Idol was being judged by Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and Anu Malik while the hosts were Karan Wahi and Paritosh Tripathi. Revanth won the reality show and proved that hard work and talent can take you anywhere.

Revanth had difficulty with Hindi lyrics initially, but he managed to overcome his weakness and went on to become one of the most popular contestants, giving some memorable performances during the entire season. Point to be noted is Revanth’s association with the music industry, which is now 200 songs old.

He has a long list of songs in Telugu films and rose to fame with Baahubali: The Beginning’s “Manohari” song.The fan following of Revanth had grown to a large extend since he entered in the final 8 contestants and he successfully managed to win everybody’s heart.

Having done amazing work in Telugu and Kannada movies, he entered a Hindi reality show even though he was not fluent with the language. Overcoming all his obstacles and impressing the whole country, he won the finale of the season 9 of Indian Idol. He surely deserves to be on the top and we hope that we soon get to see more and more of his work.
