SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu to team up for a Telugu-Hindi bilingual film?

As SS Rajamouli recently began shooting for his magnum opus starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, another speculation has been making rounds recently. Reportedly, post RRR, the director would be teaming up with Mahesh Babu for a prestigious project.

As per a few speculations, SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu have zeroed down on an idea for their upcoming film, which is expected to be a Telugu-Hindi bilingual. If the rumours do turn into a reality, the film would also mark the Bollywood debut of Mahesh Babu.

Both the popular celebrities are currently busy with their respective projects. While Rajamouli is busy helming the hugely awaited RRR, Mahesh Babu is shooting for his upcoming Maharshi, being directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The actor’s previous film, Bharat Ane Nenu, was a huge hit at the box office and proved to be his biggest success in terms of numbers.

However, reports claim that the duo is constantly in touch with each other and discussing the storyline for the prospect in store. Producer KL Narayana is expected to bankroll the prestigious project.

While Mahesh Babu holds a pan-India image with his stardom, director SS Rajamouli gained global recognition with the Baahubali series that raked up a storm at ticket windows all over the world.
