Visakhapatnam to host StartAP Awards 2018

StartAP, being a key enabler of the startup ecosystem in the state of Andhra Pradesh (AP), is established in Amaravati, the capital of AP. It has an extensive presence across the whole state.Over the years, this organization has seen more than 1000+ entrepreneurs/youngsters from the state take the leap from an idea to a developing company, carving their name in Indian success stories.Visakhapatnam has been a hub spot for traditional, innovative, growth-oriented and technologically advanced startups, which have been emerging in the period of 2014-18.

StartAP Fest

While in the conference, 50 speakers, panellists, entrepreneurs, C-level executives and all the big names in the ecosystem participate in the conversation, it provides an opportunity to all the startups to go through an application process to get selected and be able to pitch about their idea on the stage of StartAP.

The theme of the fest is designed for delivering the unbelievable energy of innovative product showcase, network opportunities, startup community connections, intense learning and cherishable story to take back for every delegate.

StartAP 100

With the help of StartAP as a platform,1000 startups would be a part of StartAP 100 program. The grand vision is to present 100 best startups from the state to the world through the platform.

We aim to achieve this goal by 2020 through campus initiatives, flagship conferences and supporting ventures.

Upcoming Grandeur Event – StartAP Awards 2018 to happen on May 25th, 2018 by the beach – Visakhapatnam, AP.

The awards apprehend the best of the best leaders, iconic stars of the business community, whose finest work has been revolutionary with modern methods that have led change in our society, by their willingness to work hard, a desire for accomplishment, and a belief of pursuing something diligently, with a strict and determined approach to follow the right path.

Hereby, we are honouring the success stories, with an excellence award within the pursuit of their stream, as a token of achievement. The event is going to be India’s top-biggest business event to commence it’s first edition to AP, aligned in conversation with world leaders.

The event in Visakhapatnam is expected to have 1000+ special invitees, 200+ Startups, 20 Speakers, 3 Power Panels with panellists from across the country.We introduce 3 primary award categories namely, Leadership Awards, Organisational Awards and Startup Awards as there are 35+ awards to be given.

It is also believed to have an incredible set of Jury Members and also  Chairman of StartAP Awards esteemed Jury is Mr J A Chowdary, Special Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister and IT Advisor for Government of AP.

Honourable Minister for IT, Sri Nara Lokesh garu is expected to handhold the event and bestow the awards along with the who’s who of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the country, placing Andhra Pradesh significantly on the Global Startup Map in the presence of 100+ startup CEOs and 35+ Investors and VCs.

The last Fest happened in Visakhapatnam, in 2016, which was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister, Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu virtually and gave a call to all the entrepreneurs in the state to join the movement of StartAP and work towards building a greater startup entrepreneurial ecosystem.
