StarAP Amaravati 2017: Back to Instigate “Andhrapreneurship”

StartAP Fest is happening in Amaravati this February 18th and 19th, 2017 in TummalapalliKalakshetram, Vijayawada.

StartAP is one of the largest platforms in India of, by, and for entrepreneurs, where thousands meet, share, learn, and collaborate. StartAP is all about passion & entrepreneurship for the state of Andhra Pradesh. We enable a growing ecosystem of startups, where young and aspiring entrepreneurs can make innovation happen.

StartAP Fest is often known as “Sunrise event for Startups”. This is the third edition of StartAP Fest and the second one in the Amaravati region. Previously in our fest, we have achieved to recognize, create and nurture 6000+ ideas, rendering 450+ startups, by helping young minds to interact with over 150+ angel investors and VC’s. Sessions with 50+ invitees and speakers who share their story with 1500+ Attendees in our holistic venue.

Since years with us, Government of Andhra Pradesh has been the most active supporter of all our initiatives.

In StartAP Fest 2016, Visakhapatnam, our honorable Chief Minister of AP  Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu in his inauguration address mentioned StartAP as a commendable platform that strives to impact Andhra Pradesh by creating a successful ecosystem for entrepreneurs who can revitalize the economy of India. In StartAP fest 2014, Vijayawada, Dr. PalleRaghunatha Reddy specified “StartAP makes Made in AP possible”.

In collaboration with StartAP,  AP Innovation Society initiated a campaign named “Mad about Ideas” Challenge which is designed to be an “Innovation Accelerator”, to encourage thousands of participants who identify and develop original, innovative proposals on pressing social and/or environmental, technological issues in national and global level from individuals or teams across all the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. This Biggest ideathon in AP was conducted for 3 months and seminars were held in most of the colleges in AP.

Ideathon before StartAP Fest:

All the entries are analyzed and shared with the Departments in Govt of A.P whichever relevant so as to implement and blend them in governing process if possible. Also, specific Business Ideas will be provided with Mentorship and Incubation support from Govt of A.P recognized Incubators and some other Entrepreneurs. This campaign received a response of 2500+ ideas in which 200 top ideas are selected and invited to attend StartAP Fest, Amaravati 2017. Top 10 entries of Mad About Ideas campaign will be recognized by Honourable Chief Minister. A Special workshop is being facilitated by StartAP for the selected 200 Ideas on 17th

StartAP Pitching Competition:

StartAP also provides a platform where startup’s pitch their ideas in the fest. Around 250+ startups are applying to present at StartAP Amaravati 2017 from across AP and South India where 80+ start-ups will be showcasing their products and top 20 will be invited to pitch on the stage to investors. Best Pitch wins StartAP Pitching Award with a Grand Prize of Rs. 1,00,000 and Top 15 startups will receive 100% Scholarship for 3 month incubation program by StartAP & Partners.
