Human sacrifice suspected in Andhra Pradesh

A tragic event reported in Andhra Pradesh is being speculated to do with human sacrifice and black magic. A headless dead body of a girl baby was found floating in the NTR water reservoir near Kalvakuntla in Penumuru Mandal of Chittoor district in Andhra Pradesh.

The girl is presumed to be one-year-old and things such as vermillion, turmeric, and a few pooja items were found in the vicinity, making people and the police suspect that it was a case of human sacrifice.

On Monday morning, locals who lived near the reservoir reported the incident to the police immediately after getting a glimpse of the horrifying sight.

The police have started the investigation but much to their disappointment, it has been learned that they have no leads in the case so far. They are yet to identify the victim or her family. Police are waiting for the autopsy report, which will determine the age and reveal more details about the crime.

As reported by the News Minute, the Penumuru police announced that they have formed police teams and are visiting the villages near the crime scene so as to find if someone’s child was missing or if anyone has lodged a missing complaint.

The Pakala Sub-Inspector, U Venkateshwarulu, who is the investigating officer, said that they are waiting for the autopsy report. But contradicting the claims of the SI, a constable from Penumuru police station said that the autopsy report was out and that it revealed that the girl was killed 20 days ago.
