The ECE department of ANITS, Visakhapatnam is back with its annual techfest. TACHYON 2K18 is here and will feature an impressive line-up of many technical events including paper presentation contest, hardware exhibitions, workshops, coding contest, etc. It will also consist of many non-technical events such as a quiz, an art expo, a business event among other exciting events.
While the Paper Presentation contest this year will focus on the result oriented papers, the Hardware expo will provide a platform to exhibit one’s technical prowess. Students with varied electronic backgrounds (such as VLSI, Embedded, IoT, Wireless Communications etc.) can model their own circuits and display them in a proper working condition. Both the above events constitute cash prizes up to Rs 25000/-.
The Techfest will also have a two-day “Robotics with Artificial Intelligence” workshop in association with a leading technology firm.
In addition to these, other unique events too are set to keep the participants hooked. Digi-Trade, Diode Wars, Technothon, Signal Hack, and Simquest are a part of the parcel that will be putting a test to the practical brilliance of the participants.
Coming to the non-technical events, Sherlocked, Ex-quiz me, Toggle It, Screwball, Scavenger Hunt, Logogrammatic, and VirboVirtuitis seem to be geared up to entice the crowd with their entertaining concepts.
