Tata Tiscon 10K run held at Beach Road in Visakhapatnam
The first edition of Tata Tiscon SD 10K Run presented by “TATA Tiscon SD” concluded with a participation of around 3000 men, women and kids participating in the 3 km, 5 km and 10 km of the multi-category run on 17th March, 2019, Sunday at the Beach road Visakhapatnam.
The event saw participation of runners from diverse categories such as corporate, running clubs,walking clubs, educational institutions and NGOs among others. The first category, 10K, of the run was flagged off at 6.00 AM followed by Zumba and flag offs of 5K and 3K.
The Marathon run was presented by “TATA TISCON SD“, which launched its brand new product Tata Tiscon SD or Tata Tiscon Super Ductile rebars in the Vizag Territory to support the cause of “Run for wise and safe Construction”. Tata Tiscon’s Super Ductile (SD) rebars are specially designed for construction in seismic prone zones.
The event with its spirit of “Running for wise and safe construction” aims towards spreading awareness about choosing the right material for construction which can save lives and property by eliminating chances of untimely breakdown of structures. As per the official press release, the event is set to make a signature mark not only in the city of Visakhapatnam but in entire AP and will be hosted annually.
