Telugu film fraternity stands with Andhra Pradesh

As Andhra Pradesh continues to reel from the devastation caused by the Titli cyclone, Telugu actors and other members of the fraternity have come forth to lend a helping hand to the cyclone-hit areas. While a few stars have contributed to the CM Relief Fund, others are helping the authorities in the relief and rescue operations.

Telugu actors Vijay Devarakonda and Varun Tej donated Rs 5 lakhs to the relief fund and urged others to do their bit as well in helping resurrect the districts. Nandamuri brother, Jr NTR and Kalyanram also donated Rs 15 lakhs and Rs 5 lakhs respectively to the CM relief fund.

Sampoornesh Babu and director Anil Ravipudi too helped the cause by donating Rs 50 thousand and Rs 1 lakh respectively. While actors Navdeep and Nikhil are helping in the relief operations, Manoj Manchu tweeted that he would adopt the Titli affected children and provide proper education to them.

The very severe cyclonic storm (VSCS) Titli has destroyed the districts of Srikakulam and Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh. Trying to rebuild the lives in these districts, the state government has called out to the public to be a part of its efforts. The public can now lend a helping hand to the flood victims by donating to the flood relief fund.The loss from the cyclone in the affected areas is estimated to be around Rs 2800 crores. To help with the same, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu had also recently urged Prime Minister Narendra

 Modi to provide a financial assistance of Rs 1200 crores as an interim relief.
