Territorial Army Recruitment Dates For Candidates From Andhra Pradesh

The Territorial Army is recruiting candidates for deployment at Fort Sitabuldi, Nagpur. The 118 Infantry battalion GRENAIDERS will carry out the recruitments for general duty soldiers and tradesmen. The recruitment is for candidates from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Gujarat, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Maharashta, Karnataka, Rajastan and the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Goa, Damam & Diu, Lakshadeep and Pondicherry.

For the GD Soldier, the requirement is 10^th/equivalent pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in every subject mandatory. If not, he should’ve appeared in 12^th class exam/equivalent or above. For Dispensation, for those candidates hailing from the border districts of Rajasthan and Gujarat, the minimum qualification required is 10^th

pass. For both the Tradesmen posts of Tailor and Blacksmith, the candidate is also required to be 10^th pass. If the candidate is previously employed, a no-objection certificate is required from the previous employee.

How to apply

Candidates interested in applying should be at Sitabuldi Fort, Nagpur, by 6 AM on April 9, 2017. They should carry along attested copies of all their original certificates, 20 passport size colour photographs, domicile certificate, character certificate issued by school, caste certificate, ration card/voter ID, NCC/computer/sports certificate(nationa/state/district levels) and unmarried certificate for those aged between 18 and 21.

Chest: 77 cms with Minimum expansion of 5 cms and above.

The Territorial Army (TA) is a volunteer force that is recruited and trained to relieve the regular troops from static security duties in the rear areas during operations, like manning of important bridge, guarding lines of communications in the hinterland and security of important installations, supply dumps, etc.
