For the proposed Integrated Museum and Tourism Complex at the Vizag beach, three designs have been submitted to the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravati on Friday.
The designs would be uploaded in the VUDA’s official website in the next 15 days for public voting. One design would be selected through voting to change the structure of the beachfront in Vizag.
The Sea Harrier Aircraft and 3d Naval Aviation museums would be set up at a cost of 20 Crores at a Tourism Complex. The complex would be integrated with the ‘Victory at Sea’ memorial, Rajiv Smriti Bhavan and AU Convention Hall which are close by.
An underground subway and a huge underground parking to accommodate more than 800 cars and two-wheelers would be constructed near the complex.
An amount of Rs 60 crore is expected to be invested in the underground parking project. The project is deemed to be constructed in an innovative manner and is even expected to feature wall panels and shopping among others.
Also, aligning to the parking lot, a huge greenery park would be established.
