In a successful move already implemented in Vijaywada, Udyog Ratham has been flagged off in Visakhapatnam district as well. It has become a big hit with the youth who were having difficulties reaching out to firms for employment. This consultant on wheels is a mobile employment and skill development center. It was flagged off by Ministers Kollu Ravindra, Ganta Srinivasa Rao and Pithani Satyanarayana at the A.P Skill Development Institute, Mudasarlova.
The mobile unit will travel and stop at important junctions for serving the job seeking youth. It is expected to benefit 100-150 job seekers daily. The companies seeking employees will coordinate with the Udyog Ratham as well as through a specially designed app. A lot of stress is being given by the government to uplift the youth and improve their chances of gaining employment. The HRD ministry is launching the Udyog Ratham to that end. The Zilla parishad Chairperson, Vizag East Legislator and a large number of students were present at the launch.
Apart from job seeking the Rath will also empower youth with the necessary skills for improving employ ability and bridge the missing gaps. The government is urging the youth to do hard work to improve their capabilities and to use this opportunity to the fullest. This consulting on wheels is expected to strengthen the youth work force and act as a catalyst for human resource development in the state.
