Vijay Deverakonda throws an ice cream party to Hyderabad on his birthday

Vijay Deverakonda is fast emerging as one of the more stars in Telugu film industry. The actor’s latest film, Mahanati, will be hitting the screens today. Incidentally, May 9th also marks the birthday of Devarakonda.

Staying true to his unique style, the Arjun Reddy star seems to have found quite an innovative way of celebrating his birthday. Taking to his social media portal, Vijay Deverakonda announced that three ice creams trucks, named The Deverakonda Birthday Trucks, would be travelling across Hyderabad and distributing free ice creams to all those going in the heat.

“A few days of shooting in the Sun made me think of this.

What if I got 3 ice cream trucks to drive around the city and give out free ice cream to everyone going about their day in the heat. The traffic cops, the street vendors, students, employees. So say Hi to the #TheDeverakondaBirthdayTruck.

I am throwing the city a party – these trucks will be travelling through most of #Hyderabad. We will be giving away IceCream to as many as possible and If you spot them, don’t be shy just go and take some IceCream smile and enjoy it.

Many of his fans seem to be liking his idea and are appreciating the unique gesture by the actor.

While Pelli Choopulu established Deverakonda as an actor, Arjun Reddy helped him garner a cult following among the youngsters. After Mahanati, his Taxiwala would be hitting the screens later this summer.
