Interacting through a video conference, Andhra Pradesh CM, Chandrababu Naidu proposed establishment of an Emirates hub in state capital Amaravati and better flights connectivity with Visakhapatnam.
Adnan Kazim who is the Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates interacted with CM Naidu for exploring the proposal for establishment of an Emirates hub in Andhra Pradesh. The establishment will happen at the new state capital, Amaravati. In addition to this the exchange explored CM Naidu’s interest in reviving old ties and working on better connectivity between Visakhapatnam and other cities in Andhra Pradesh and Dubai. He also mentioned his interest in developing more green field airports like the Visakhapatnam International Airport.
A reviving of old ties is in the interest of better business, knowledge and expert sharing and with the new capital Amaravati being developed to better global scales, the idea has come about. A partnership would aid greatly the development of the State capital. Kazim has also responded warmly and assured partnership with the successful business ventures with him in Hyderabad.
A team of experts from Emirates will visit Amaravati soon to discuss opportunities available. Chief Minister Naidu is visiting Dubai on October 22nd and will be welcomed by Chairman of Emirates, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and the uncle of the ruler, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
