HPCL has given 38.5 lakhs INR towards construction of the first floor at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Visakhapatnam as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative.
The first floor of the Maa Sarada Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Learning Centre for children at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, Visakhapatnam was inaugurated in the holy presence of Swami Abhiramanadaji of Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math by Sri GSVSSS Prasad, Executive Director, HPCL, Visakh Refinery on Jan 23 i.e Tuesday at 9.30 am. In attendance at this Corporate Social responsibility initiative were Sri N. Raja Rao, GM I/C Human resources, HPCL, Visakh refinary, Visakhapatnam and U S Sarma, Chief Manager Public Relations, HPCL and others.
About Maa Sarada Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Learning Center
It is a state of the art center and one of its kind in Andhra Pradesh. It provides for the children’s benefit Physiotherapy, Special Education, Acupressure, Sand therapy, Aquatherapy, Spider Therapy, Yoga, Behaviour Modification Therapy and Sensory Integration. Sri GSVSS Sarma told that under their Corporate Social Responsibility, HPCL is taking up projects including Health, Education for children in rural areas and under developed sections of the society. He assured continuous support to Ramakrishna Mission Maa Sarada Cerebral Palsy Clinic and Learning Centre for Children. HPCL has spent Rs 38.5 lakhs under Corporate Social Responsibility towards construction of the center.
Swami Atmavidanandaji, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission, Visakhapatnam has requested one and all to come forward and join in building lives of these special children. Swami Guneshanandaji, RK Mission, Vizag has conveyed that these children should be included into the society and the center is dedicated to the same. The center is providing treatment free of cost for the last 25 years and will continue to do so in the future.
