Lalith Ahuja’s ANSR Consulting is planning to set up one of the largest financial technology facility at Visakhapatnam’s Fintech Valley with an investment around Rs 1,000 crores. Ahead in future this is expected to create 10,000 jobs over a period of 6 years. AP government has already cleared the proposal and allotted 10 acres of land. This is inside the IT SEZ at Madhurwada in Visakhapatnam. IT process services giant Conduent has also announced a large development center at Visakhapatnam. Not just the IT SEZ here but other establishments are soon to come up in our city.
Visakhapatnam will receive the Rushikonda Millenium Tower in November at Rushikonda. It is a 180 crore project that is already underway and it is in the final stages of construction. It is being developed in a huge way and is expected to have 2 lakh sq.feet area for IT sector office space.
IT sector in Visakhapatnam is coming up in a big way and the Minister for IT, Nara Lokesh has envisioned Visakhapatnam as an IT hub on par with Bengaluru. He has expressed his goals as a massive creation of jobs in the IT sector and achieving the goals in a sustainable manner. It was here in The Block Chain Technology business conference that he has brought it out.
A lot of companies had participated who expressed their willingness to open regional centres in Visakhapatnam. This will see the IT sector getting a major boost in the city with the IT hub supported by Block Chain Technology, Internet of Things, Cloud Computing etc. A definite bright hope has been felt regarding development and job creation in the city. With the Millenium Tower and the 6 companies expressing interest in opening up business operations in Vizag, the IT sector will see a big change from what it is now.
