In a shocking incident that has come to light, two individuals, including a woman, have been arrested for convincing women to sell their uteruses in Visakhapatnam. It has been reported that the accused persuaded the women to resort to the act by offering hefty amounts up to Rs 8 lakh.
The accused, Jyoti and Sreekanth, have been identified to belong to Bheemunipatnam of Visakhapatnam district. Jyoti, who had worked as a sweeper at a private hospital in Vizag, lured poor women to sell their uteruses by offering hefty amounts.
