In a meeting of a group of ministers, various projects were under discussion as part of the tourism promotion discussion. Among other projects was the initiative of setting up family entertainment centers in the 3 biggest cities of AP which are Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Tirupati.
As per what has been proposed so far, the family entertainment centers will include ab IMAX theater, multiplex, conference hall with 2,000 pax capacity and a business area and attached star hotel. A one stop arena for all around entertainment which ever way one may be interested to enjoy for every family member. In Visakhapatnam, Vijayawda and Tirupati, the number of takers for such an initiative would be very high and it would be a big success.
Other projects discussed were the resorts planned in Chirala, Kakinada and Prakasam districts, Mahindra company project in Srikakulam, tourism project in Maredumilli etc were also discussed. In all an investment of Rs. 150 Crores will be made for development works but the entertainment centers for the family as well as tourism projects are a sure boost for Andhra Pradesh development.
Viskahapatnam people would receive the venture the family entertainment center very well considering the turn out of the people over the weekends and festive season at the various malls, shopping centers, beach, etc around town.
