Vizag is all geared up to emerge as a world-class IT hub with the advent of the city’s Fintech valley. The Millennium towers, which are all set to adorn this beautiful city, will showcase Visakhapatnam as a prominent leader in the technological sector. The towers, which will be IoT (Internet of Things) enabled, are being constructed at a brisk pace. Sharing the same with the public, Andhra Pradesh IT Minister took to his social media accounts to give a glimpse into the progress of these towers.

Vizag has also been identified to be developed into a leading blockchain hub in the country. The technology, which is expected to take major strides in many fields in the coming days, is being catered a lot of prominence by the state government. The blockchain business conference and the Agri-hackathon, conducted last year in the city were aimed at promoting the same.

Recently, eight startup companies have been shortlisted for incubation at the accelerator facility at the Fintech valley. The potential IT-boom in the state is not only expected to create innumerable jobs but is also poised to generate huge amounts of revenue for the state government.
