Around 800 to 1,000 delegates from different states and Central Government along with the top executives from IT Companies will attend the 20th national conclave on e-Governance (NCeG) being held in Vizag from January 9 to 10.
After demonetisation and the crisis faced by the country, this conference holds much more importance. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, Department of Electronics & IT, government of India and AP Government are jointly organising the conference. Prior to this many more prestigious events like third BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India and South Africa), CII Partnership Summit and International Fleet Review were held in the city.
The conference holds ‘Digital transformation’ theme. The delegates will exchange views on cyber security policy for future, technology-led monetary transactions leading to financial inclusions, digital economy through last mile connectivity. The centre of interest of NCeG would be use of digital innovations towards transforming India.
Reportedly Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu, Union IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and the host of Central and State Ministers and senior bureaucrats will attend the conclave.
