The Isha Yoga centre in Coimbatore will celebrate the Mahashivratri with Sadhguru, in high spirits on 13th February. Much similar to each year, the celebrations this year too will be filled with spiritual exuberance amidst the vibrant chants and serene meditation. The celebrations will be held at the magnificent 112-ft statue of Adiyogi, which was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last year.
The event would be marked by Adiyogi Pradakshina, the process where the devotees will be made to circumambulate a powerful energy source in a clockwise direction and grace the spiritual supremacy of Adiyogi. The process is also said to fuel one’s striving towards ultimate liberation. Also, Sadhguru will be seen lighting up a Maha Yoga Yagna which is meant to be an initiative to spread simple forms of Yoga to the people.
In addition, this year’s celebrations will also witness the devotees receive a Rudraksha bead as prasadam. A release by Isha Yoga centre said, “This bead is one of one lakh and eight such Rudraksh beads that have adorned the 112-ft of Adiyogi over the last year”.
The event will be aired live on multiple Television channels. The live stream can also be watched and revelled in here.
