4 Waterfalls around Vizag that you need to visit ASAP

How dearly do we love waterfalls? The gushing waters, the lush greenery, the sturdy rocks and the chirping birds are what possess the magical abilities to heal the punctured spirits of the metropolitan lives. Often the preferred destinations for getaways, these natural wonders come as one of the ideal ways of resonating with God’s creation. Luckily, Vizag, given its proud heritage of nature escapades, is endowed with several waterfalls not too far away from its urban core. Here are 4 such places around the city that you need to visit asap to revive, rejuvenate and celebrate.

Devarapalli

Two hours away from the city of Vizag, the still waters and an amazing waterfall of this place exude an otherworldly charm. The many lakes spread across the sides of the road, along with the lush greenery, act as a visual treat during the drive and make it very peaceful.

Dumbriguda Chaparai

Situated about 15 km away from Araku on the route to Paderu, this picturesque picnic spot has charming waterfalls and lush green surroundings. While the currents can be strong in the monsoon, the waterfalls are fun otherwise, though caution is advised.

Katiki

After enduring a challenging trip amidst the lush green hills of Eastern Ghats, the euphony of cool, clean water gushing down from a steep height of 50 metres is what awaits you at this picturesque locale.
