Bringing together the best of Mediterranean and Mexican flavours is the three-month old Upland Bistro. Join us as we embark on an appetising tour.
The Setting
A glass door welcomes you into the cosy restaurant done up in shades of teal and cream with vacant snowy frames on the walls that grab your attention. Two rows of tables stand on either side of the room. Soft light shines down on wood-topped tables accompanied by marble grey chairs from hanging sconces. The ambience of the place, as a whole, matches the exotic menu it offers.
The Fare
Serving a wide range of authentic Mexican and Mediterranean dishes entailing of even Italian pastas and pizzas, Greek, French cuisines and more, this one is for the voyager in you. The menu is peppered with dishes like Garides Saganaki – a traditional Greek delicacy made with prawns and tomatoes, topped with feta cheese, and Crème de Champignons – a creamy soup of crimini and shitake mushrooms. With trimmings like Herbed Pita Bread, Hummus, Cajun Fries and desserts like classic Apple Pie and Chocolate Explosion; each dish on the menu offered at Upland Bistro is a treat to the taste-buds.
Yo! Recommends
Try out their mouth-watering Mediterranean Chicken Kebab – a well-seasoned grilled chicken served with hummus or Chicken Soulvaki – Greek style chicken served with tzatziki, fries and pita. Their main course comes highly recommended with dishes like Vegetariana Chimichanga Tortilla and Chicken Steak Madagascar, served with mashed potato, sautéed vegetables and mushroom jus. Do not miss out on their wide range of pastas and pizzas.
